Volunteer
The volunteers at Oasis Resource Center are an integral part of our organization. If you are looking for a way to get involved and serve the community, there are a variety of options.
Receptionist
Our receptionists are the first face new clients see when they come to Oasis! Our receptionists help keep the resource center running smoothly by answering phones, assisting with scheduling, and other basic clerical duties.
Client Advocate
When a client comes in for a confidential conversation, our Client Advocates provide them with caring and compassionate support and connect them to important resources. Client Advocates at Oasis meet our clients where they are with genuine, non-judgemental support.
Fundraising Events
Oasis hosts various fundraising events throughout the year, such as the Annual Oasis Banquet, Clay-shoot, and more. Volunteers are always needed to help plan, set-up, and run events.
Material Donations
One of the most vital services that Oasis provides is the Earn-While-You-Learn Baby Boutique. It provides expectant parents with the ability to “buy” the necessities they need to care for their coming child.
The Baby Boutique is stocked through generous donations from individuals and organizations in Lincoln County and beyond. Oasis accepts donations of new, unopened items, such as:
- diapers
- wipes
- infant clothing
- baby bottles
- formula
- blankets & crib sheets
- layettes
- strollers
- cribs
- car seats
- baby shampoo & lotion
- high chairs
- baby toys
- pacifiers
- bibs
- diaper bags
